Eric takes a vision and makes it a firm reality through sound strategy preparation, deep financial analysis and monitoring, and strong management development. Via an eclectic set of experiences and deep intuition, he sees the threads of opportunities that wind through a company, brings them together into a coherent whole, and systematically expands the company’s products and services into areas of material brand advantage and profitability.
Respected as a credible voice in decision making, establishing effective governance boundaries, and working closely with owners, investors, bankers and key external partners, Eric earns a seat at the table wherever he serves.
Eric has worked in businesses ranging from very small to very large. After graduating with his MBA from Stanford, he served in a range of financial, strategic, and M&A roles for a decade for some of the largest companies in the world.
Then in 2006, Eric shifted to a very different set of CFO, Treasurer and CEO roles for companies owned by private equity firms and family offices, along with building start-ups.
These companies covered a wide range of industries: financial services, luxury jewellery, high-end bathroom fixtures, and landscaping. Using wide-ranging financial and operational analyses, Eric vastly improved the financials, built new management teams, focused the business on profitable products and channels, and built strong relationships with distribution partners, vendors, customers, owners and bankers.
Eric holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in Accounting summa cum laude from The Ohio State University. He is a CPA.
Eric for many years has been an Ambassador for the Fly Navy Heritage Trust. If you wish to join Eric in supporting this great cause, please see https://www.navywings.org.uk.
